The Take Home Book Program

A school-based program of family literacy

The Take Home Book Program (THBP) helps young learners develop a love of reading and increases literacy for students, families, and schools in a highly successful model of parent involvement. All parents want their child to succeed, but many need guidance on how to help their child learn. Virtually any teacher will say that student success requires two main ingredients: Help children love to read. Make sure parents are involved.
